L-Serine-Sensitive Mutants of Escherichia coli K-12

ABSTRACT

While attempting to isolate D-serine-sensitive mutants of Escherichia coli K-12, we found a class of mutants sensitive to low concentrations of L-serine (10 to 25 µg/ml).
