Activation of the C2 to C19 Monocarboxylic Acids by Pseudomonas

ABSTRACT

Cell extracts of pseudomonads grown on hexadecanoic acid contained C11 to C19 acyl thiokinase, C4 to C14 acyl thiokinase, C2 to C6 acyl thiokinase, acetyl thiokinase, and acetokinase.
