ABSTRACT
Double mutants of Serratia marcescens resistant to isoleucine hydroxamate and
-aminobutyric acid accumulated large amounts of isoleucine in a salts-sugar medium and lacked both feedback inhibition and repression of the isoleucine biosynthesis.
