Isolation and Phenotypes of Mutants from Salmonella typhimurium Defective in Formate Hydrogenlyase Activity

ABSTRACT

A new method is described for the isolation of different mutants defective in formic dehydrogenase activity measured with benzyl viologen as electron acceptor.
