  • a Cells were grown in Spizizen minimal medium supplemented with glucose to exponential phase at 37°C and then shifted to 25 or 15°C. Total lipids were extracted and transesterified to yield fatty acids methylesters, and products were identified by GC-MS. Values are the means of results of three experiments and are expressed as percentage of total fatty acids.
